Kidznews, the news social network!

 I found out that kidznews used to be a news social network. Kids used to be able to submit articles and have accounts. Some users on the platform included Whizkid, Mathgeek36, and CupCake549. I find it interesting that there were different social networks on kidzsearch that are gone now or lost their social features, like Kidzforums and Kidznews.

Kidzforums, a community lost to time

Kidzforums  was the first kidzsearch social network and early predecessor of what would eventually become Kidztalk. The forums ran from 2005-2006, back then kidzsearch was new and didn't have many users. The most users ever online was only 10, on 4/30/2005.  Despite its small size, I can see from the captures that the forums were a small community that had potential. 35 captures are all that's left of kidzforums on the internet archive. Since only the home page was captured, all 7 topics and 11 replies in the community have been lost to time. We can leave it to our imaginations to wonder what they were about...      Contrary to popular belief, Supaman wasn't the first registered kidzsearch user. By June, the question received over 100 answers and was gaining traction. Kitty111, inspired, wanted to create a post that would serve the same purpose, except, of course, that it would be geared towards girls. " WE GONNATO WIN THIS FOR THE GIRLS!!!!!!! " was born. Suddenly, Nathans's question was under threat. Immediately, the boys established it as theirs and an all-out kidzsearch war would be the result. The boys laughed and mocked the girls, but just six hours later, Kidzsearch moderators deleted unnecessary answers to Nathans's post, bringing the number down from 101 to just 26.  ...
